Munsters, Vinyl and nostalgic music

My god 'The Munsters' is one of the greatest shows ever created! I've been watching it quite a lot for the past few days and I think it must be one of the most underrated and easily forgotten TV shows of all time! Even today it's hilarious not to mention good old fashioned clean fun. No filth. Apart from in the first episode of season 2 when Lily Munster calls a Bear who Herman is dancing with a Hussy. That's just gold.

I've also been buying some new vinyl, so that's been good. I got 'Private Dancer' by Tina Turner, The Carpenters single collection, a Dubliners album, My Fair Lady (one of the single greatest resources for awesome cockney accents) and today I got 'The Name Of The Band Is The Talking Heads' by The Talking Heads. My Vinyl collection is definitely getting much better!

As many of you no doubt noticed, last night was Bonfire Night. Kingsley and Dave put on a lovely fireworks display and made mulled wine etc. It was a really good night and I spent a few hours between about half 10 and 2 looking up nostalgic music from the 1990s. Some real classics of my childhood. For example, 'Every Morning' by Sugar Ray and 'Roll to me' by Del Amitri. These two I highly recommend for a trip down memory lane!

Anyways, that's what I've been up to for the last couple of days. What have you been up to? Maybe you should put it in a blog. Then when people ask you you can just tell them to check your blog and you don't have to repeat the same old tired shit over and over.
